CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – After nearly a week of temperatures at or below freezing, forecasters say the weather will start getting back to normal for this time of year.

“Today is the day we’re going to warm up,” said National Weather Service Meteorologist Mark Rose.

Temperatures for the past several days have been about 20 degrees below normal for the mid-state with a dangerous wind chill factor.

Rose said the good news is there is no snow forecast for the foreseeable future.

Tonight wind chills will dip into the mid-teens again. The weekend forecast will bring temperatures in the mid 60s. See the latest forecast here.
