MIDDLE TENNESSEE– What if your first thought upon looking out at the Nashville skyline was “I walked off the roof of that building.”?
It can be this spring during the City Auto Over The Edge Nashville benefiting Big Brothers Big Sisters of Middle Tennessee. The event will allow supporters to rappel the 269-foot Omni Nashville Hotel April 15, 2016.
Rappellers going over the edge (Edgers) will have realized the personal goal of fundraising at least $1,000. Registration is now open at www.OverTheEdgeNashville.com.
Thanks to the generosity of event partner City Auto, all of the money raised will directly benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of Middle Tennessee. The nonprofit organization provides professionally supported, one-to-one mentoring relationships to at-risk youth in Nashville and the surrounding counties.
The City Auto Over The Edge is the only urban rappelling event in Middle Tennessee and offers participants the exclusive opportunity to see the city from a climbing rope on the side of a beautiful and recognizable skyscraper, all while supporting a worthwhile cause that improves the lives of the city’s youth.
The first 70 Edgers who hit the minimum fundraising goal will be going down the wall with City Auto and Big Brothers Big Sisters. More than 20 people have signed up to go down and several have already raised the minimum fundraising goal. Big Brothers Big Sisters offers guidance and tips as Edgers work toward their goal, helping them reach the top so they can rappel to the bottom.

Businesses can partner with Big Brothers Big Sisters and support the event via a number of different sponsorship levels. To learn more, contact Sarah Beatty at 615-522-5659 or sarah.beatty@mentorakid.org
The City Auto Over the Edge Nashville benefitting Big Brothers Big Sisters of Middle Tennessee is an unparalleled fundraising experience, rewarding in both the support given to a local nonprofit as well as the personal experience Edgers lock in as they lower themselves down the building.
