CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Big Brothers Big Sisters of Clarksville hosted the inaugural “Big Night of Bourbon” at the Ruby Cora on Friday. Guests enjoyed bourbon tastings, dinner, and a silent auction. All of the silent auction items were donated by local businesses and distilleries.

Funds generated from this event will go to Big Brothers Big Sisters to support programs in the community that help children.

“It was a very successful event, the outpouring support from the community has been amazing along with the businesses and distilleries that donated their time and products,” said Sandra Brandon, executive director of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Clarksville. “I’m definitely looking to do this again next year and making it an annual event.”

Big Brothers Big Sisters is a youth mentoring organization that creates safe, healthy one-to-one relationships that inspire youth to “do better, reach higher and find their potential,” the BBBS states.

AM Robotics was the main sponsor of the night, which was emceed by Lee Erwin of Clarksville Now.
