CLARKSVILLE, TN − Big Brothers Big Sisters of Clarksville is proud to announce the launch of its new Ambassador Program, designed to inspire and empower community members to become advocates for change. This initiative seeks passionate individuals who are eager to encourage their peers and community to get involved and make a lasting difference in the lives of Clarksville’s youth.

The Ambassador Program aims to build a network of dedicated volunteers who will serve as the voice of Big Brothers Big Sisters within their communities. Ambassadors will have the opportunity to lead by example, sharing their experiences, and encouraging others to become a “Big”—a mentor who offers guidance, support, and friendship to a child in need.

“We believe that everyone has the potential to be a leader and role modelt,” said Sandra Brandon Moss, Executive Director of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Clarksville. “Our Ambassadors will play a crucial role in spreading awareness about the importance of mentorship and the life-changing impact it can have on both the mentor and the mentee.”

Participants in the Ambassador Program will receive training and resources to help them effectively promote the mission of Big Brothers Big Sisters. They will be equipped to host informational sessions, lead volunteer recruitment efforts, and engage with local businesses and organizations to foster partnerships that support the program’s growth.

The need for mentors in Clarksville has never been greater. Currently, there are 35 children waiting to be matched with a role model. By becoming an Ambassador, volunteers can be a driving force in helping to match these children with mentors who will make a lasting difference in their lives.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Clarksville invites anyone who is passionate about making a difference to become an Ambassador. Together, we can build a stronger, more supportive community for our youth.
