CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – A man riding a bicycle was killed after being hit by a vehicle Monday on Tiny Town Rd.
According to Officer Natalie Hall with the Clarksville Police Department, 22-year-old Vince A. Freeman was riding his bicycle when he was struck by a vehicle around 12:30 a.m. Freeman died from his injuries.
The vehicle left the scene of the collision.
The suspect’s vehicle was located Wednesday morning and the owner has been identified as 53-year-old Phyllis Taylor of Clarksville.
Taylor was booked into the Montgomery County Jail and charged with vehicular homicide, leaving the scene of an accident- death or injury, failure to yield the right-of-way, driving without a license, and financial responsibility (no insurance). Her bond amount is $1,100,000.
