CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – The Bi-County Transfer Station on Highway Drive is shut down for maintenance today and April 17, with the exception of the convenience center side.
The pit is expected to be back in operation no later than April 21 but may be open as soon as April 18, according to county spokeswoman Michelle Newell.
Because the pit is nonoperational, large loads should be taken to Bi-County’s Main Landfill at 3212 Dover Road in Woodlawn. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday from 5:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Regular bagged household trash and recycling can still be delivered at the transfer station convenience center side, or to any other satellite center in Montgomery County. For more information, visit https://mcgtn.org/bi-county.
