Betty Marie Dies, age 87, of Clarksville, passed away Friday, September 8, 2023, in Nashville, TN.
Betty was born February 13, 1936, in Clarksville, TN the daughter of the late Milton and Elsie Moore Young. She was retired from AO Smith Company and a member of Mt. Herman Baptist Church.
Survivors are her husband of 67 Years, Samuel Louis Dies; one daughter, Vickie (Russell) Yarbrough; one brother, Jack Young; three sisters, Bertha Summers, Martha Coppage, Lois Bartee; two grandchildren, Samantha (Michael) Bara and Krystal Yarbrough; three great grandchildren, Thomas Bara, Stacey Bara and Lacey Yarbrough.
A Celebration of Life Service will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 13, 2023, at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Hickory Point Church Cemetery. Visitation will from 9:00 a.m. until the service hour on Wednesday.
Donations may be made to the Hickory Point Cemetery or to the Davidson Graveyard.
