CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – The Best of Clarksville has named Dream Factory a 2019 charity partner. The organization began in 1981 in Hopkinsville, with Clarksville chapter is now the oldest chapter in America. While the organization was founded in Hopkinsville.

According to the organization’s website, “The Dream Factory is the largest all-volunteer driven children’s wish-granting organization that does not limit its mission to children who have life-threatening illness. The organization believes children with chronic illnesses and disorders also suffer from substantial emotional and physical pain.”

The Dream Factory of Clarksville is approaching their 200th dream for kids in the surrounding community. The goal is to provide a dream without limitation. The organization has provided hot air balloon rides, meeting Dale Earnhardt, and of course Disney. The Dream Factory even had Bill Murray come to a high school graduation to push a child across the stage.

 

The donation from Best of Clarksville proceeds will ensure the organization can continue to make the ‘sky the limit’ and grant dreams for these children in need.
