CLARKSVILLE, Tenn (CLARKSVILLENOW) – This year’s Best of Clarksville event raised over $166,000 for the benefit of local nonprofit organizations. $15,000 of the money raised was presented to the Bikers Who Care on Thursday, November 14.

Best of Clarksville is held each year at Governors Square Mall on October 3. The event recognizes outstanding local businesses and groups through a system of nomination and popular vote.

“We’ve been doing this for 5 or 6 years with Best of Clarksville,” said Bill Langford of the BWC. “It’s a lot of fun. You see every business in town there.”

The Bikers Who Care are a local motorcycle organization with 40 years of history in the Clarksville Community. They have raised and donated over a million dollars through BWC Children’s Charities, which supports local and regional charities such as Camp Rainbow, Buddy Ball, Dream Factor and similar organizations.
