CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Appleton Harley Davidson will host their annual Hot Rods and Harleys event Saturday, Aug. 26 from 5-8 p.m.
The event Appleton Harley Davidson prides itself on consists of a ride-in motorcycle and car show that will boast rat rods, custom bikes, choppers, antiques, and muscle cars.
Appleton Harley Davidson owner Tia Suiter knows the importance of creating unique events for the community.
“It’s an event meant for everyone in our community to come together, enjoy live music, experience a time past with the vintage cars, muscle cars, of course the motorcycles too!” Suiter said. “It’s a great time for all to show off their prized possession in life. This is a fun filled night where all ages come together with great fellowship. Truly it’s magical to still capture moments like this. Appleton’s is proud hold this event.”
One of the feature attractions has some family ties for the historic dealership.
“Jimmy Suiter is displaying Buddy Appletons 1929 in his honor- of course personally there is that nothing compares to the 69 SS 454 Straight Shift Camaro that is appropriately orange and black,” said Suiter.
This all ages event is not only free, but has a little something for everyone. There will be a tattoo contest for the ink enthusiasts out there with prizes up for grabs. If live music is more your thing, stop by and check out the Kevin Waller band.
There will be food and beverages on site for purchase, along with beer. Bring the family out for a great night of fast cars and loud pipes. Appleton Harley Davidson is located at 2501 Highway 41A Bypass. For more info, call 931-648-1607, or visit www.appletonharley.com.
