Benjamin David Messer, 36, of Clarksville, TN, died Monday, December 16, 2013 at his residence. He was born April 15, 1977 in Logan, WV to James Messer and Irma White Messer.
Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, December 20, 2013 at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Chapel. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Thursday, December 19, 2013 and from 9 a.m. until the hour of service Friday, December 20, 2013 at the funeral home.
Benjamin was a truck driver for TDOT. He was a hunter and fisherman.
He is survived by his father, James Messer of Logan, WV; mother, Irma White Messer of Clarksville, TN; wife, January True Messer of Clarksville, TN; son, Benjamin David Messer, Jr. of Clarksville, TN; daughter, Kailee Rene Messer of Clarksville, TN; brother, Brian (Monica) Cox of Richmond, VA; two sisters, Dawn Bumgarner and Marlena Neace of Logan, WV; and best friend, Mark Zellers of Carlisle, TN.
