CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW)- The Clarksville-Montgomery County Beekeeper Association (CMCBA) will be offering their annual Beginning Beekeeper Short Course on Saturday, Oct. 5 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Clarksville-Montgomery County Public Library, 350 Pageant Lane, Clarksville, TN.
The short course introduces beginning beekeepers, or anyone interested in beekeeping, to the basics of getting started. This includes equipment needed, management, and best practices. The course is free for all current members of CMCBA. The course costs $10 to all non-members.
Participants will learn through lunch and are encouraged to bring a sack lunch or bring cash if an instructor picks up orders from a local restaurant. Coffee will be available.
