CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – (CLARKSVILLENOW) The Alzheimer’s Association is inviting everyone in the Clarksville community to be a part of the Walk to End Alzheimer’s, Saturday, October 7 at Liberty Park.

Registration starts at 8 a.m. with a ceremony at 9 a.m. and the walk at 9:30.

The two-mile walk is a great way for friends and family to come together and show one another that they are not alone in the fight to end Alzheimer’s disease. Over 110,000 Tennesseans are currently living with Alzheimer’s and it is the nation’s sixth leading cause of death.

There will be snacks, drinks, games, and lots of community vendors, so come out and help raise funds and awareness for Alzheimer’s support, care, and research.
