CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – (CLARKSVILLENOW) The Better Business Bureau of Middle Tennessee & Southern Kentucky and the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office have teamed up again to help business owners and organizations learn lifesaving techniques to survive an active shooter situation.
C.R.A.S.E, Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events workshop is scheduled for Monday, June 18 from 1-3 p.m. at Daymar College, located at 2691 Trenton Road in Clarksville. This two hour active shooter workshop has been designed to provide public and private sector businesses with the tools needed to develop active shooter plans for their businesses and facilities.
The workshop will include the following topics:
• The history of active shooter events
• Potential workplace violence indicators
• Civilian response options
• Scenario-based exercise on handling an active shooter incident
