CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – On Tuesday, March 1, the Better Business Bureau (BBB) of Middle Tennessee made the move to their new location in Clarksville. The office is now at 420 Madison Street, Suite B-1. The BBB office was formerly housed at 214 Main Street.
BBB Tenn-Tucky Branch Manager, Melanie Thompson said all of the services offered to the Middle Tennessee and Southern Kentucky area by the BBB are still the same just at a different location. “We’re here to educate people, keep them safe from scams and to help businesses be better,” said Thompson.
Thompson added that the BBB is excited about the move and there are future plans for a ribbon cutting with the Clarksville Area Chamber of Commerce. At this time there are no signs posted at the entrance to the BBB office which can be reached at the rear of the building also called the Madison Business Circle at 420 Madison Street.
The area where the old BBB office was located was well known as the old Bank of America property. It has been purchased by Montgomery County and is being considered as a possible site for a civic plaza.
