CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – With bats, boats and bows and arrows, the Beaver 100.3 Hunting & Fishing Expo kicked off Friday morning for three days of fun.
The Beaver 100.3 Hunting & Fishing Expo, brought to you by Army Recruiting in Clarksville and Hopkinsville, brings the top regional outdoor vendors under one roof.

The event features speakers and workshops by regional and national experts, along with contests and demonstrations. Army Bass Anglers from the World Fishing Network will conduct seminars each day, and they’re bringing the kids fishing tank! Here’s what to expect:
- Army Bass Anglers stage shows and classes, some taught nearby on the Cumberland River.
- Animalogy live animal demonstrations with a hedgehog, Gila monster and an albino Burmese python.
- Kids fishing tank.
- Boat displays.
- U.S. Army Entertainment Trailer, with distracted driver pedal karts and flight simulators.
- West KY FCA Outdoors with their inflatable archery range.

Friday
- 2:30 p.m.: Basic Sonar Class / Fish finder with Shawn Dalrymple
- 4 p.m.: Choosing the right rod and reel and how to cast, with Erick Wilkas
Saturday
- 10:30 a.m.: Animalogy Show
- 12:30 p.m.: How to set up for kayak fishing, with Shawn Dalrymple
- 1:15 p.m.: Animalogy Show
- 2:30 p.m.: Water temperature vs. favorite baits, with Erick Wilkas
- 4 p.m.: How to predator hunt, with Randy Gardner
Sunday
- 11:30 a.m.: Animalogy Show
- 12:30 p.m.: Advance sonar class with on-water demos, with Shawn Dalrymple
- 1 p.m.: Animalogy Show
- 2 p.m.: How to set up a bow, with Randy Gardner
Hours and tickets
Hours for the Jan. 28-30 event will be Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., all at the Wilma Rudolph Event Center, 1190 Cumberland Drive.
Tickets are $5 for adults, and kids 16 and younger are free. Miliary get in free with military ID. Tickets are available on Eventbrite or at the door.
