Basil became a father in 1986 to his son Xenophon Basil Alexander Diamond and the next year to his daughter, Xanthi Roxanne Diamond. The Diamond family moved to Clarksville, TN in 1992. Basil started Diamond Construction later that year. He became a Master Tradesman and grew a loyal clientele until retiring at age 62. He enjoyed continuing to work around his home and yard and remained active throughout his life.
