CLARKSVILLE, Tenn (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Professional basketball player Bashaara Graves is returning to Clarksville to host skills training camps for student athletes. The camps begin August 2 and will benefit Serenity House.

Bashaara Graves began her basketball career as one of Clarksville High School’s Wildcats. She made a name for herself as a power forward for the Lady Vols before being drafted by the Minnesota Lynx in April 2016. She has since played for the Chicago Sky, KB Stars in Seoul, and Maccabi Ashdod of the Israeli League.

Bashaara will host two one-day skills camps at Clarksville High School based on the following age groups:

Middle School: August 2, 4-7:30 p.m.

High School: August 3, 9:30 a.m.-1 p.m.

The price to attend is $60, or $50 with a donation to Serenity House Women’s Shelter.

Students will work to develop individual offensive and defensive skills in a competitive environment. They will set individual goals both on and off court, participate in film sessions, and learn about off court preparation.
