CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Tickets are on sale now for the newest pet-friendly activity in Clarksville, Barks and Brews. The event will be held Saturday, August 24 from 2-6 p.m. at Gladiator Brewing Co. in Clarksville.

Whether  you are a dog owner or just a dog lover, all are welcomed to attend!

Guests can expect a variety of entertainment options for both humans and pets. Participate in contests such as Owner/Dog  Lookalike or the Best Dog Costume. Enter to win great prizes all day long and explore pet friendly vendors and local businesses.

On-site food includes BBQ, Mexican, Hot Dogs & Middle Eastern food vendors.

The festival provides a fun, interactive atmosphere while also raising money for The Montgomery County Angel Fund.

Event beneficiary, The Montgomery County Angel Fund, is an organization dedicated to sick or injured shelter animals at Montgomery County Animal Care and Control. The Angel Fund was an integral player in saving the life of Franky the Pitbull, a dog who was assumed to have been the victim of dog fighting and abuse​.

The story of Franky went viral in the community and was followed closely by over 55,000 people throughout middle Tennessee!
