Clarksville’s favorite pet event is back: Barks & Brews!
The event will be held Saturday, Sept. 23, from 11 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. at 138 Center Pointe Drive. What is even better is that this year’s event is fall themed.
Whether you are a dog owner or just a dog lover, all are welcome to attend. Guests can expect a variety of entertainment options for both humans and pets. Participate in contests such as Owner/Dog Lookalike or enter our newest contest the Pooch Plunge: Hot Dog Edition. Enter to win great prizes all day long, explore pet friendly vendors and local businesses, live DJ, and other fun activities.

On-site food includes a wide variety of food trucks.
The festival provides a fun, interactive atmosphere while also raising money for The Montgomery County Angel Fund and The Caledonia Forest.
“On behalf of The Elite at Sweet Home Realty and The Ruff Life Resort, we are overly thrilled to bring Barks & Brews back to the community,” said Brandon Easton, event director. “Expect new surprises in this year’s event, including a special fall theme. You’ll even have a special meet and greet with some of the forest animals from The Caledonia Forest. We are leaving our legacy through raising money for our local animals who oftentimes are neglected.”

Event beneficiaries
The Montgomery County Angel Fund is an organization dedicated to sick or injured shelter animals at Montgomery County Animal Care and Control. The Angel Fund was an integral player in saving the life of Franky the Pitbull, a dog who was assumed to have been the victim of dog fighting and abuse. Franky has since been rehabilitated back to full health and with the most loving family.

The Caledonia Forest is an organization with a big plan to open up their forest conservation program in Dover by 2025, paving the way for our community to be a leader in forest conservation efforts. Caledonia Forest is more than just a forest, the experiences you’ll have in the forest are mystical and fairy-like. Their goal is to plant new forests and save wildlife throughout the entire nation.
