Barbara Sue Johnson, age 79, of Clarksville, passed away Monday, March 7, 2022.
Barbara was born January 17, 1943, in Nashville, TN, to the late Jackson B. Woods and Lilly Mae Brockett Woods. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Allen Johnson; three siblings, Fred (Ruth) Clark, Neal Pierce, and Roger Woods; and one grandson, Anthony.
Mrs. Johnson is survived by four children, Kenneth Moore, Sheryl Conner, Gary (Ann) Johnson, and Terry (Leslie) Johnson; sister, Brenda (Randy) Eubank; nine grandchildren, Kristen (Tom), Jace, Michael (Amanda), Davey, Paige, Sydney, Courtney (Rich), Dakota, and Brittany; and three great grandchildren, Wyatt, Henry, and Holley.
Barbara loved dirt track and drag racing, watching her kids and grandkids play ball, and sports.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Friday, March 11, at 2:00 PM, at the Chapel of Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home with Bro. Tony Chester officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, March 10, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM, and Friday, March 11, from 12:00 PM until the hour of service, at the funeral home.
