Barbara Ann Offermann, age 60, passed away on March 14, 2024. She was born on April 26, 1963, in Michigan. Barbara moved to Hawaii as an infant where she would live on O’hau for 57 years, before moving to TN in 2020 to be closer to her daughter and grandchildren. She graduated the University of Hawaii in 1997 and went back to school 11 years later to obtain a degree in Early Childhood Education at Honolulu Community College. Barbara taught in Hawaii and TN for a combined 27 years. Barbara was a Christian woman. She enjoyed sewing and tea parties. However, her greatest love in life were her grandchildren.
Barbara is preceded in death by her mother, Sylvia Sperle and father, Kurt Offerman. She is survived by her daughter, Curissa Garrett and her husband Cory; and grandchildren: Chloe Turner, Grayson Garrett, and Noah Garrett.
