Barbara Joyce Peltier, of Woodlawn, TN, went to be with Jesus on Saturday, June 1, 2024, at the age of 84.
Barbara was born in Mt. Clemens, MI, on February 17, 1940, to the late John Flaga and Catherine Cleaver. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers, Leslie Flaga and Joseph Flaga; and her sister, Mary Jane DeCeuninck.
Barbara is survived by her husband of 62 years, Charles Peltier; daughter, Mary (Harold) Hensley; sons, Charles Peltier II, John Peltier, Jeff (Karen) Peltier, and Chris Peltier; sisters, Shirely Roland and Phyllis Miller; grandchildren, Christina (Jamie) Bourgeios, Heather (Brian) Barbour, Joshua (Julie) Peltier, Matthew (Elexus) Hensley, Kaitlyn (Caleb) Wesson, Michael (Mahaila) Hensley, and Khloe Peltier; and great-grandchildren, Jenna Peltier, Rebecca Bourgeios, Jackson Barbour, Emerson-Kate Barbour, Waylon Hensley, Grace Hensley, and Carson Hensley.
Mrs. Peltier will be remembered as a wonderful wife and mother and loving grandmother to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at St. Michael’s Catholic Church on Monday, June 10, 2024, at 11:00 AM with burial to follow at KY Veterans Cemetery West. Visitation will take place at Neal Tarpley Parchman Funeral Home on Saturday, June 8, 2024, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM, with a Rosary service following at 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Matthew Hensley, Michael Hensley, Brian Barbour, Caleb Wesson, Kaitlyn Wesson, Jeff Flaga, David DeCeuninck, and Harold Hensley.
