CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Police have arrested a suspect in the Regions Bank robbery on Monday, and it’s a Clarksville man who was out on parole for bank robbery in another jurisdiction.
William Marlow, 55, has been taken into custody, according to Clarksville Police spokesman Scott Beaubien.

At 11 a.m. Monday, police responded to a bank robbery at the Regions Bank on Lowes Drive. The robber produced a note demanding money. No weapon was seen.
“Officers quickly responded to the scene and gathered information about the suspect. Photographs of the suspect and getaway vehicle were disseminated to the police department and eventually released to the media,” Beaubien said.
Marlow was arrested Tuesday around noon.

“I would like to thank everyone involved who assisted in bringing this case to closure,” Police Chief David Crockarell said. “It was the collective effort of the dispatchers, first responding officers, detectives, and the intelligence unit that resulted in this criminal being located quickly and taken into custody without incident.”
