FT. CAMPBELL, Ky. – In honor of the national observance of Veterans Day, Blanchfield Army Community Hospital (BACH) personnel will observe the federal holiday Friday, Nov. 11.
Therefore, all soldier and patient-centered medical homes and pharmacies will be closed. The hospital remains open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, for emergency services, inpatient care, and labor and delivery services.
BACH soldier and patient-centered medical homes, BACH’s primary care services, as well as women’s health and child and family behavioral health services will remain open Monday, Nov. 14 on the training holiday. BACH specialty and surgical services will participate in a day of no scheduled activities Monday, Nov. 14 and will be closed.
BACH pharmacies will also operate on a condensed schedule on the DONSA. LaPointe Pharmacy will be closed Monday, Nov. 14. Byrd and the Main Pharmacy within the hospital will be open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and the Town Center and Screaming Eagle Medical Home Pharmacies will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, Nov. 14.
The Town Center Pharmacy will open normal Saturday business hours from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 12.
Veterans Day was selected and observed to represent Germany’s signing of the armistice with the Allies ending World War I.
