CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Austin Square Shopping Center, located at 2780 Wilma Rudolph Boulevard, is undergoing a facelift just in time for holiday shopping.

The center is home to T.J. Maxx and Shoe Carnival and will add a DressBarn store coming in the spring of 2015. According to the architect, Joshua A. Wright, AIA, the $500,000 new façade includes demolition of the existing veranda that is 527 lineal feet covering 10 existing stores. Those stores include Kim’s Alterations and Dry Cleaning, Clothes Mentor, Beauty Supply, Hayes Shoes, Express Tan, T.J. Maxx, Once Upon A Child, Venus Nail Spa, Shoe Carnival and the new DressBarn.

According to Wright, “This new remodel will provide a better shopping experience for customers as well as the business owners.”

The contractor for the site remodel is Jimmy Miller Construction Company who said the completion date will be mid-November. The center is owned by Tennessee Investment Properties.

All stores will remain open during the remodel as renovations have already begun.

The DressBarn is new to Clarksville but has over 800 locations around the United States and carries the latest trends in women’s clothing, jewelry and accessories.
