CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Austin Peay State university held its commencement ceremony Friday at the Dunn Center to honor its 2023 graduates. This semester’s graduating class included more than 600 APSU students with close to 300 participating in the ceremony.

Both undergraduate and graduate students from all five academic colleges were recognized along with the new University College’s inaugural graduating class.

Austin Peay President Dr. Michael Licari told the students when it comes to graduation, they have every right to be proud and the university was certainly proud of them.

“Graduates, today we are celebrating you, and your perseverance and accomplishments that have helped you reach this milestone. College is not easy, and it’s not supposed to be. The fact that you are graduating today means that you put your mind to accomplishing something big,” Licari said.
