Aurelia R. Davila, 85, of Clarksville, TN, passed away on Sunday, December 27, 2015, at Gateway Medical Center.
Aurelia was born on July 4, 1930, in Penuelas, Puerto Rico to the late Luciano Garcia and Pascuala Ramos. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Adolfo Davila-Ortiz.
Celebration of life service will be held on Monday, January 4, 2016, at 12:00 p.m. at the Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Chapel with Rev. Louie Montoya officiating. Burial will be at Fort Donelson National Cemetery in Dover, TN. Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 3, 2016, from 4:00-7:00 p.m. with Pastor Luis Reyes performing the prayer and reflections and Monday, January 4, 2016, from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Aurelia was a retired seamstress. She was a member of Iglesia Mateo 28 Asambleas de Dios, Clarksville, TN with Rev. Jose Vazquez and was a member of Iglesia Macedonia Asamblea de Dios for 35 years. She attended Clarksville Baptist College. She was a Misionera Asambleas de Dios from 1976-1979.
Aurelia is survived by two sons, Cosme A. Davila-Ramos (Mary) and Jimmy Davila-Ramos; three daughters, Rossy Davila-Ramos, Betty Davila-Ramos, and Rev. Hilda A. Santiago; brother, Manuel Garcia; ten grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; and four great great-grandchildren.
