Audrey Maybell Tinsley Conatser, age 72 of Cunningham passed away Sunday, March 16, 2014 at Gateway Medical Center.
Sykes Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements. The funeral service was held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, March 19, 2014 at Sykes Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Mackens, Rev. Richard Hughes and Rev. Mark Daniels officiating. Visitation was from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Tuesday, March 18, 2014 and from 11 a.m. until the hour of service on Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial followed in the McWhorter Cemetery.
She was born in Dickson County on December 25, 1941 to the late William Jessie and Maudie Louise Walker Tinsley. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James Milton Conatser and brothers, William, J.D., Alec and Norris, Jr. Tinsley.
She was a homemaker, a member of Calvary Baptist Church and attended the Slayden Church of God of Prophecy.
She is survived by children, Bennie (Carrie) Conatser, Gary (Lisa) Conatser, Glen (Beth Vaughn) Conatser, Kenneth (Betsy) Conatser; brother, Joe (Linda Wilkins) Tinsley; sisters, Elsie “B” McCormick, Elise (Earl) Harrison; 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Donald Hodges, Robert Hodges, Alan Goins, Charles McCormick, Scott Harrison and Danny Tinsley. Grandchildren served as Honorary Pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Slayden Church of God of Prophecy, 3020 Slayden Marion Road, Cumberland Furnace, TN 37051.
