CLARKSVILLE, TN – Montgomery Central senior Audrey Levendusky earned her 100th career pin on Saturday at the annual Coyote Classic hosted by West Creek and was also given the Outstanding Wrestler Award after a dominant performance.
Levendusky moved to 9-0 on the season with three first-period pins at the event in the 152-pound weight class, including a fall at 1:36 over returning state medalist Danica Mealer from Riverdale in the finals. Three pins at the Coyote give her 101 total pins in her career. She now has 137 lifetime wins as well, meaning 101 of her 137 wins have ended with a fall.
Levendusky’s teammates had solid performances, though the girls Central program is considered a young team this season. First-year wrestlers Shy’myah Pardue went 2-2 with two pins at 126 and 132-pound Amber Koch went 3-2, finishing in the top 6.
Levendusky is ranked in the top 30 nationally by Sports Illustrated and the top 20 by FloWrestling. She’s also a three-time state finalist and two-time state champion.
