CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Attorney Eric J. Yow has announced the start of his campaign for Montgomery County General Sessions and Juvenile Court Judge, Division II, in the 2022 election.
Yow is a local attorney in Clarksville since 2007 and senior partner at Goble & Yow.
“It has been my pleasure to work for the people of Montgomery County in a variety of capacities, in law, business and community partnerships, where I and my family have labored tirelessly to serve the citizens of Clarksville,” Yow said.
Licensed to practice law since 2007, Yow is a graduate of the University of Memphis School of Law and winner of four CALI Excellence for the Future Awards. He graduated from Freed-Hardeman University with a B.S. in Biblical Studies in 2003.
Yow has practiced law in Montgomery County since moving here in 2007 to work with the Kennedy Law Firm. Quickly transitioning to the Goble Law Firm, it was not long before he was named Partner, whereafter the firm was renamed Goble & Yow. Practicing primarily in criminal defense, Yow has spent the significant majority of his legal practice in General Sessions, Juvenile, and Circuit Court in Montgomery County.
“It will be a tremendous honor to move from the active practice of law into the role of General Sessions and Juvenile Court judge, where I will work diligently to provide a fair and respectful courtroom for all who walk through its doors,” Yow said.
Yow and his wife, Erin, have two daughters, Emmalyn and Elyza. Their children attend Clarksville Christian School, where Erin is the director of preschools and Eric serves on the Board of Directors. The Yows attend the Trenton Crossing Church of Christ and both are graduates of Leadership Clarksville.
