CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – The Clarksville Police Department responded to an attempted robbery at Walgreens on Wilma Rudolph Blvd. Monday around 12:11 p.m.
According to a news release, a white male suspect passed a note to the clerk asking for oxycodone. Witnesses told police the suspect appeared impatient and left the store empty-handed before the clerk returned.
Police were able to locate the suspect and take him into custody after a witness provided a description of his vehicle.
The suspect has been identified as 30-year-old Jeffery Wallace of Indian Mound. He was charged with robbery and driving on a revoked or suspended licence. His bond was set at $75,500.
