CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – The Montgomery County primary is coming up March 5, with early voting starting on Feb. 14. In addition to the presidential primary, there are several local races on the ballot, including for School Board seats and Assessor of Property. The winners will be on the county general election ballot in August.

To help voters with their decisions, Clarksville Now is holding forums for each contested race, giving candidates a chance to weigh in on the issues.

Assessor of Property

Here is the forum for Assessor of Property, Republican primary, featuring incumbent Erinne Hester and Caitlin Castle-Swaffer.

About the election

The Presidential Preference Primary and County Primary will include local races and the presidential primary. Election day will be March 5, with early voting Feb. 14-27.

Winners of the local party primaries will face one another in the State Primary and County General Election on Aug. 1. The presidential election, with state and City of Clarksville elections, will be Nov. 5.
