CLARKSVILLE, Tenn (CLARKSVILLENOW) – ArtLink, a local nonprofit group which promotes the arts through free programs for Clarksville’s youth, are opening their first physical studio location in Downtown Clarksville on Strawberry Alley.

Since 2012, ArtLink has held pop-up art and live music events, offering local children opportunities to express themselves artistically. Last year, they unveiled their mobile studio, which has become a regular feature at Downtown events like the Market and Downtown @ Sundown.

The new space, located at 117-B Strawberry Alley, is just a couple of doors down from Strawberry Alley Ale Works, near the fountain, in Downtown Clarksville,

“The new studio will have more frequent and in-depth creative projects and feature other artisans to lead classes and promote their own works,” said ArtLink executive director and founder Maria Haycraft.

An official ribbon cutting ceremony will be held on November 7 at 6:00 p.m. to coincide with the new class schedule and the release of the ArtLink 2020 events calendar.

ArtLink is seeking instructors, volunteers and sponsors interested in creative arts and youth development.
