CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Artlink, a nonprofit organization in Clarksville dedicated to promoting the arts and creativity, will be opening a brick and mortar space on Strawberry Alley in historic downtown on November 7.
“We started in 2012 doing pop-up art and music events, then established a mobile studio in 2018 that delivered the arts activities directly to the community,” said Maria Haycraft, ArtLink executive director and founder.
“The new studio will have more frequent and in-depth creative projects and feature other local artisans to lead classes and promote their own work,” said Haycraft.
An official ribbon cutting ceremony will be held on November 7 at 6:00 p.m. to coincide with the new class schedule and release of the 2020 ArtLink events calendar.
The non-profit is seeking instructors, volunteers, and sponsors interested in the creative arts and youth development. Learn more about the organization and see a list of upcoming events on their website.
The new space will be located at 117-B Strawberry Alley.
