Floyd Scott, age 77, of Clarksville, passed away Sunday, April 25, 2021, at Centennial Medical Center.
Floyd was born January 10, 1944, in Dickson, TN, to the late Herman Scott and Ruby Stuart Scott. He was also preceded in death by one brother, James Stuart; and sister, Betty Edwards.
Floyd was a biology professor at Austin Peay State University, and he was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Wednesday, April 28, at 11:30 AM, at Trinity Episcopal Church, with The Rev. Meghan Ryan officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, April 28, from 10:00 AM until the time of service, at the church.
Dr. Scott is survived by his wife, Malinda Mabry-Scott; son, Stuart (Laura) Scott; daughter, Melissa Scott; three brothers, Lloyd (Cindy) Scott, Gus (Polly) Scott, Larry (Elise) Scott; and four grandchildren, Austin Scott, Paige (Trent) Maberry, Olivia Grace Scott, and Ellie Scott.
