CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Police have arrested the suspect in an armed robbery that occurred June 30 at the Aldi store on Fort Campbell Blvd.
Michael Stinson, 40, was apprehended in Santa Rosa Beach, FL July 6.
According to Officer Natalie Hall, the suspect was carrying a handgun and wearing a blue and white flannel shirt with short sleeves, black shorts, and black shoes when he entered the store June 30. Witnesses described the suspect as a white male with salt and pepper colored hair and a gray goatee. It appears that he was wearing a wig, and his natural hair can be seen in the surveillance photo.
At the time of the robbery, he had a white shirt over his head and was carrying a black 9mm handgun.
The suspect fled the scene on foot with over $400 in cash before officers arrived.
He had been seen previously at Cell Phone Repair on Fort Campbell Blvd. about 30 minutes before the robbery. He was driving a Volvo with Davidson County plates, pictured below.
