Austin Peay’s Foy Fitness and Recreation Center is a 78,000 square foot wonder. Offering hundreds of different recreational opportunities, spanning from indoor rock climbing to ultimate Frisbee, there is truly something for everyone within those walls. Amongst all of our programs, during our summer months we offer Jr. Govs Summer Camp for kids ages 5-14 years. Jr. Govs Summer Camp is filled with sports activities, games, arts & crafts, swimming, and off-campus field trips.

The most important thing to the Foy Center is its members and the center strives every day to make sure it’s accessible to whoever is interested. University Recreation understands that accessibility is an important factor when purchasing fitness and recreation memberships, which is why it offers state of the art fitness tools, competitive hours, and prices. Foy memberships are available to not only students, but APSU affiliates and alumni, and community members as well.

During the Fall and Spring semesters the center’s doors are open Monday through Thursday from 6 a.m-10 p.m., with Friday hours being 6 a.m.-8 p.m. During the summer months you can utilize the facilities Monday-Friday 7 a.m. – 8 p.m. The center is also open on weekends. More information is available to you on our website, www.apsu.edu/recreation, or on Facebook at, www.facebook.com/URecApsu. Also, feel free to give us a call at 931-221-7564.
