CLARKSVILLE, TN – It’s time for the 2023 version of the Christmas Concert put together by David Steinquest! This year’s show includes 17 new selections, a couple of oldies, and maybe a surprise guest or two.
The performance features Allison Steinquest, vocals; Trey Andrews, vocals; Mattie Smith, fiddle and vocals; Tim Calhoun, guitar; Kevin Madill, piano; Tony Nagy, bass; Sam Campbell, drums; David Steinquest, percussion; and the APSU Percussion Ensemble.
The concert includes Christmas standards like Sleigh Ride, I’d Like to Hitch a Ride with Santa Claus, The Christmas Song, Silent Night, Lo How a Rose E’er Blooming, Carol of the Bells, Happy Holidays, and Auld Lang Syne. There are also original songs by contemporary artists like Tow’rs, Ingrid Andress, Jacob Collier, Waterdeep, Mariah Carey, Laufey & dodie, Sleeping at Last, and Chris Rice. Many of the tunes are dressed up in unusual and innovative arrangements that give them new life. The show will have a homey atmosphere with the stage set up like a living room complete with Christmas decorations.

Admission is two cans of food (donated to Loaves & Fishes) or $5.00. Bring your cans to the Music Office (MMC Rm 139, 221-7818, M-F 8 am-3:30 pm). To buy your tickets: APSU Marketplace.
