CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee Board of Regents (TBR) has voted to increase tuition at educational institutions throughout the state.

Among these, Austin Peay State University will see an increase of 5.6 percent for the 2014-2015 school year, according to a TBR press release. This increase equals $324 per student.

TBR says the increase is due to an “unexpected decline is state revenue collections.”

The increased tuition price does not include housing, books, special course fees, etc.
