CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Two Austin Peay State University Art and Design students are stepping beyond the classroom to reach the local community. Their show “Art in the Summer” will premiere at the Oak Grove Community Center June 4 from noon to 3 p.m. Students Christopher Whitted and LJ will showcase their work personal work at the community center.
The goal of the show is to inspire others to persevere and be ambitious. Both Whitted and LJ find their own inspiration from different backgrounds. The collaboration aims to to bridge the gap and unite people with different passions, while using art in many forms.
The Oak Grove Community Center is located at 1705 Thompsonville Ln, Oak Grove.
