CLARKSVILLE, Tenn (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Austin Peay State University’s spring classes begin Jan. 21, 2020, but students wanting to get a jump-start on that semester can get back to class early starting on December 14, 2019. That’s when the University’s winter term begins, allowing students to complete up to two online classes in only four weeks.
Winter term, which runs through Jan. 12, 2020, offers both undergraduate and graduate classes. Students from any Tennessee college can enroll in these courses. Non-Austin Peay students can also use financial aid from their home school to help pay for the classes, thanks to a financial aid consortium agreement.
During the four-week term, even when the University is closed for the holidays, students will have complete online access to Austin Peay’s library, online tutoring through the Academic Support Center and technical support for online classes.
Successfully completed credit hours will be applied to an individual’s spring semester, and recent student success data shows that students who complete more than 15 hours a semester have higher GPAs and are more likely to graduate.
