CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Effective immediately, Dr. William Rupp will no longer serve as dean of the Austin Peay State University College of Business.
The university made the announcement Thursday.
Rupp will be reassigned to a faculty and professor of management position in the College of Business.
Dr. Rex Gandy, provost and vice president for Academic Affairs, released a statement through APSU Public Relations upon the announcement, “I appreciate the five years of dedicated service by Dr. Rupp, and I am looking forward to an exciting future of growth and success for our College of Business.”
Gandy will assume all dean responsibilities in the College of Business, in addition to his role as provost and vice president, according to APSU.
A search for an interim dean is currently underway and a search for a permanent dean is being planned.
The university did not specify a reason for the reassignment.
