CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. — Tickets are still available for the American Red Cross, Two Rivers Chapter event, Ante Up for the Red Cross, to be held on Saturday, November 9th from 6 – 10 p.m.

The event will be hosted at Tanglewood House located at 1601 Madison Street. Beverages will be provided by Ajax Distributing and Beachhaven Winery. Tickets are $75 each and include heavy hors d’oeuvres, entertainment and a silent auction. “We are really looking forward to the upcoming event and more importantly the opportunity to raise vital funds to help us prevent, prepare and respond to disasters in the community,” said Executive Director, Julie Campos.

Guests are invited to truly experience a “Night at the Cotton Club” and to take a step back in time to 1920’s as Dapper Gents and Flapper Ladies in vintage style.

The Two Rivers Chapter of the American Red Cross provides vital emergency assistance to help victims of local disasters in Benton, Dickson, Henry, Houston, Humphreys, Montgomery, and Stewart counties, along with Ft. Campbell, KY and Land Between the Lakes.

Over the past year the Chapter trained 2,964 people in CPR & First Aid, Babysitting and Aquatics training, and provided services including emergency messaging to 351 cases and referrals to 495 military members. Over 107 blood drives, collecting 3,048 units of blood. Volunteers helped respond to 177 local disasters, including 121 residential fires. We helped over 840 affected individuals and families with emergency food, shelter and supplies. All of these services are made possible by over 240 dedicated local Red Cross volunteers as well as through generous gifts from the local community.
