CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – The ninth annual Tickle Me Pink luncheon hosted by the Clarksville Area YMCA will return to the Wilma Rudolph Event Center this October. Tickets are on sale now for the Thursday, October 10 event.

Guests will enjoy shopping, silent auction, dining, and of course an uplifting message from a featured speaker.

The 2019 guest speaker is Nashville’s Cortney Edmondson. Nominated as one of Nashville’s Top 30 Under 30 for her
philanthropic efforts in Middle Tennessee, Cortney is a speaker, survivor and advocate.

She is the founder of Thursday Thrive, a platform for people to share their stories of overcoming adversity in order to uncover the blessings, lessons and transformations that only adversity can provide. Her passion for stories, combined with a decade of experience leading in the corporate world as a State of Tennessee Certified Public Accountant and Corporate Financial Consultant, results in an empowering message that will stimulate any audience.

The luncheon is the annual fundraiser to benefit the Clarksville Area YMCA’s After Breast Cancer (ABC) Program. The program is a 16-week course for survivors and those currently battling breast cancer. The women in the program complete a specialized program focused on the physical, mental, and spiritual well being. The program is completely free to the user, made possible by Tickle Me Pink and yearly giving.

Tickets are $40 and include lunch, access to shopping, and the motivational speaker.

To purchase tickets go online or call the YMCA at (931) 647-2376.
