HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – The Museums of Historic Hopkinsville-Christian County will host its annual event dedicated to world-renowned psychic Edgar Cayce March 22-24 at Pennyrile Forest State Resort Park.

Psychic Edgar Cayce, a native of Hopkinsville, discovered his clairvoyant abilities at a young age and gave readings dealing mostly with diagnosing health ailments and providing cures. He died in 1945 and is buried in Hopkinsville’s Riverside Cemetery.

John Van Auken will serve as the featured speaker on Edgar Cayce and Our Life as Souls. An internationally renowned speaker and current Director at Association for Research & Enlightenment (A.R.E.) in Virginia Beach, John Van Auken is the author of many books including From Karma to Grace, 2038: The Great Pyramid Timeline Prophecy, and Edgar Cayce on the Spiritual Forces Within You.

He is an acknowledged expert on the Cayce readings, the bible, ancient prophecies, world religions, and meditation. John travels widely to share his knowledge of the Cayce work, serves as a guide for A.R.E. Tours at international sites and teaches courses in meditation training, mentoring, and other disciplines.

A bus tour of Cayce sites led by Christian County historian William T. Turner will round out this weekend of fun and personal growth.
