Annette Beadles Marks passed away peacefully on December 11, 2024, after a brief illness.
Annette was born on July 14, 1942, in Mayfield, Kentucky to Joe and Stella Marie Beadles. In addition to her parents, Annette was preceded in death by her brother Kent Beadles.
She is survived by her husband, Albert P. Marks, whom she wed on November 27, 1966. She is also survived by her niece Ruth Marks Hoffman (Larry) of Knoxville, TN and nephews, Hunter Marks (Lynn) of Hendersonville, NC and Ben Marks of San Francisco, CA, and many cousins, and especially Fran and Bill Powers, and other extended family whom she dearly loved. She is also survived by her dear friend, Helen Young Rudolph.
She received an associate’s degree from Lambuth College and a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Pharmacy in Memphis, TN in 1965. Upon graduation she moved to Clarksville, TN where she began a career as a pharmacist that would last until her retirement in 2021. Over the years, she was a well-known face at several local pharmacies including New Providence Drugs, Warren’s Apothecary, Dickson Sadler Drugs and Town and Country Drugs. She also served as the pharmacist for the infirmary at Austin Peay State University for over 25 years.
She was a member of First Presbyterian Church. In addition to being a member of The Les Candides Garden Club, Annette was an avid tennis player and bridge player. She loved riding bicycles and completed The Bike Ride Across Tennessee many times. Annette was an adventurous traveler and made numerous trips to Africa, Latin America, South America, and Cuba in her later years. No matter what the occasion, she was always the life of the party and always cherished time with friends!

Visitation will be at Neal Tarpley Parchman on Saturday, December 14, 2024, from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm with a graveside service to follow at Greenwood Cemetery, 976 Greenwood Ave, Clarksville, TN 37040.
