Anne Patricia Bullerwell, age 89, of Clarksville, passed away Wednesday, December 1, 2021, at her residence.

Pat was born January 7, 1932, in Westbrook, ME, to the late Arthur Smith and Laurette Chayer Smith. She attended Westbrook High School, and after graduation worked as a telephone operator. In 1952 she married Walter R. Bullerwell. Their married life took them all over the United States: Baltimore, Ketchikan, Pendleton, Tacoma, Chicago, St. Louis, and then to Newburgh, Indiana where they lived for thirteen years before retiring to Tennessee.

Pat went back to school at age 50, receiving an Associate’s Degree in Business from Lockyear College. After college, she worked for Bullfrog Aviation in Evansville, Indiana. She also served as president of the Warrick County chapter of the American Cancer Society.

Pat loved sailing, camping, visiting her granddaughter in California, and having a good time with her family and friends. She was also a diligent gym-goer, and when she couldn’t make it to the gym she would walk every day, rain or shine.

She is survived by her husband, Walter R. Bullerwell; son, Scott Bullerwell and his wife, Madeleine Murphy; and granddaughter Madeleine Bullerwell. In addition she is survived by five sisters, Claire Cameron, Helen Martin, Jeanine Pelletier, Muriel Belanger, and Lorrain Belanger. Her brother Donald Smith preceded her in death.

Pat was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Tuesday, December 7, at 10:00 AM, at the Chapel of Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Visitatiton will be Tuesday, December 7, from 9:00 AM until the hour of service, at the funeral home.
