Ann Sugg Jones, 72, of Clarksville, TN, passed away on Sunday, June 15, 2014 at Gateway Medical Center.
Ann was born on June 26, 1941 in Nashville, TN to the late Horace Sugg and Jewell Schmittou Sugg. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Alice Nan Sugg.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Chapel with Brother Steve Kirby officiating. Entombment will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m on Tuesday, June 17, 2014, and from 11 a.m. until the hour of service Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at the funeral home.
Ann was a dedicated homemaker and worked as a pre-school teacher at Madison Street Church of Christ. She was a member of Hilldale Church of Christ. She was very active with Meals on Wheels. She was also an ombudsman for local nursing homes.
Ann is survived by her husband, Lytle P. Jones, Jr. of Clarksville, TN; two sons, Carl Randolph Jones (Melanie) of Warner Robbins, GA and Patrick Jones of Clarksville, TN; daughter, Erica Jones (Brian) of Bowling Green, KY; and seven grandchildren, Trent, Justin, Seth, Jacob, Cameron, Eli, and Micah.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
