Daycon Clarksville, the local anime convention, is slated for Aug. 2 and 3 at the Riverview Inn. The 4th annual event will feature several activities including panels, live musical performances, vendors, artists, a cosplay contest, a gaming room, and a ramune (soda) drinking tournament.
Daycon Clarksville is a family-friendly event for fans of all ages.
Friday, Aug. 2, the event is open from noon to 11:30 p.m., and Saturday, Aug. 3, from 10:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. The cost is $10 per day for ages 5 and up.
As in previous years, they will donate 10% of the registration fees to the Cats Are Us, a local second chance animal shelter. They will also be hosting the annual Cats Are Us Charity Raffle, which includes donations by Heroes Legacy, Silkes, and others who support the charity.
